Ronnie and Lucille Thomas Our connection with Ronnie and Lucille Thomas might have started 12 to 18 months ago. Maureen collected an advertising flyer from the letterbox – First National on the front and on the reverse a recipe which interested Maureen mostly because her education time was spent in South Africa and it was something that she recognised. What did Maureen do? She put the apparently useless letterbox flyer in the recipe drawer. Fast forward quite a period. We had decided to move to Katikati. So, who can we contact to sell our “Palace”? Flash-backs and Maureen remembered the First National Flyer. To us this showed us that Ronnie and Lucille believed that they had to promote themselves. Congratulations! Then on to the Sale process – we found “the team” were professional in all areas – good time keeping, enthusiasm, apparently relating well to potential buyers, appreciating our standard of preparation each open home – and of course presentation of the acceptable offer. It was great closure for us especially, or perhaps cleverly, just within both our time frames. 14th April 2017 After making the decision to sell our property our first step was to decide which Agent we would engage to act on our behalf. Investigating who was actively marketing properties in our local area was our starting point. We invited three Agents from different agencies to appraise our property. They were invited to access part of the property which was outside the tenanted area. Meeting with Ronnie three days after initial contact he had viewed the property legal detail, physically visited the property and presented a thorough market appraisal. I can fully understand Agents are regularly contacted for appraisals and the hours of background work that can come to nothing in not gaining a listing. However I found Ronnie to be very engaging and the only Agent to have gone to such detail in appraising our property. Throughout the successful marketing and auction process we found Ronnie to be very professional and his communication skills outstanding. We at all times felt up to date and involved with the sale process.
